The Shukokai Karate Federation Headquarters was officially opened in 1999 by then local MP Sylvia Heal.
Originally the headquarters had been located in Digbeth, Birmingham since 1975, until it moved to its new home in Blackheath in 1999. The headquarters is located at:

Since then the centre has become a centre of excellence, regularly producing students of the highest quality who have gone on to become National, European & World Champions in Juniors & Seniors.
The SKF Headquarters is run and headed by the Shukokai Karate Federation Chief Instructor, Shihan Eddie Daniels 8th Dan, who is also one of the four KSI (Kimura Shukokai International) World Chief Instructors.
The SKF headquarters also has a very high level of other senior instructors within the club who also regularly teach classes during the week, they include Sensei Clem Braithwaite 7th Dan (SKF Assistant Chief Instructor), Sensei Solfrid Daniels 5th Dan (SKF Squad Coach), and Sensei Audun Daniels 5th Dan (SKF Squad Coach).
Students of all ages, whether it be Men, Women or Children (5yrs +), will be taught the art of Kimura Shukokai Karate, a style thats constantly developing and growing throughout the world.
The headquarters is the heart of the Shukokai Karate Federation, where the SKF National squad & Instructors meet regular to hold their squad & instructor training sessions.
The headquarters also has its own leisure facilities where members and their guests can relax and enjoy a relaxed and friendly family atmosphere with friendly instructors and other fellow students.
